There is a withdrawal (e.g., 2 yen) that I don't recognize.

GO does a credit check (authorization) for 2 yen or so when you use GO Pay (credit card payment).

Please do not worry if the amount of the withdrawal remains on your statement, as it will be refunded at a later date.

What is a credit check (authorization)?

Credit check (authorization) refers to the process by which a merchant inquires the credit information of a user from a credit card company at the time of payment and confirms whether the payment can be made. Specifically, it refers to the pre-authorization process whereby the card merchant confirms with the card issuer whether or not the card can be used when a customer uses the card.

Credit checks are not limited to our services, but always occur when a customer uses a card.

Timing of credit check (authorization)

The credit check is processed at the following.

1. The customer orders a taxi from the GO App, and the driver accepts the order (the taxi is dispatched).

2. The customer gets into a taxi and makes a GO Pay payment on a tablet in the back seat.

*If you are using "AI Reservation," a credit check will be processed at the time you place your order (request for dispatch) on "AI Reservation.
*If you are using Priority Ticket, credit check will be processed when you agree to use Priority Ticket.

When a credit check (authorization) is canceled

Please note that it may take a certain period of time for the credit check to be canceled. Please be assured that even if the debit amount remains on your statement, it will be refunded at a later date.

Please note that debit and prepaid card payments will be withdrawn immediately from your bank account after the credit check.
