What is the handling charge?

About handling charge

When ordering a taxi using the GO App, a handling charge of 100 yen will be incurred if "In-car payment" is selected.
No handling charge will be incurred if "GO Pay" is selected for payment.

* A GO App charge of 100 yen for ordering a taxi with GO may be separately incurred depending on the taxi company used.

About payments and fares

The handling charge is applied when you select In-car payment when requesting a taxi through GO.
At the time of payment, a handling charge of 100 yen will be added to the meter fare, pickup fee, and GO App charge.

Conditions for handling charge

• When selecting "In-car payment" as the payment method when requesting a taxi through the GO App.
• The service charge will apply even if you clear the payment with GO Pay using the tablet device in the rear seat after boarding, provided you selected "In-car payment" when requesting the ride on the app.

Conditions where handling charge does not apply

• When selecting "GO Pay" as the payment method when requesting a taxi through the GO App.
• When the request is canceled.
• When boarding a taxi that was hailed (a taxi boarded from the street or a taxi-ride area) and paying with GO Pay.

• Tokyo : 23 Wards, Musashino City, Mitaka City, Tachikawa City, Fuchu City, Kunitachi City, Choufu City, Komae City, Koganei City, Kokubunji City, Kodaira City, Nishitokyo City, Akishima City, Musashimurayama City, Higashiyamato City, Higashimurayama City, Kiyose City, Higashikurume City, Hachiouji City, Hino City, Tama City, Inagi City, Machida City, Oume City, Fussa City, Akiruno City, Hamura City, Nishitama District(Mizuho Town, Hinode Town, Okutama Town, Hinohara Village)
• Kanagawa : Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, Yokosuka City, Miura City

You can check the details of the handling charge from the fare details.
[Request Taxi] screen > [+ service charge, etc.] > [Handling charge]

   

After your ride
On your receipt at the time of payment, it will be displayed under names such as "GO App charge," "Other charges," "Toll fare, etc.," or "Reimbursement."
(The name for the handling charge may vary depending on the equipment used by the affiliated taxi company.)
